Rajni is the Program & Partnerships Manager for the Smart Transportation Innovation Program (STIP) liaising with industry partners for industry oriented research and technology development at UCSD within STIP. Rajni has over 12 years of experience in the tech industry and is passionate about technology solutions that have a social impact.  Rajni moved from UK to San Diego last year, where she was the Client solutions manager for emerging technologies at IBM UK. Rajni has a strong interest in local community development and is on the steering committee for Leaders2020, a local non-profit that engages the youth in the community to improve the quality of life in San Diego. She is also the Program Director of Girls-in-Tech San Diego and a strong advocate for young girls and women in STEM.
