The Smart Transportation Innovation Program (STIP) at UC San Diego has been developed to facilitate research, development and commercialization of technologies to enable smart and green transportation solutions. The current STIP partners and sponsors are UCSD Center for Wireless Communications (CWC), UCSD Institute for the Global Entrepreneur (IGE), Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), the city of San Diego, the Ulsan Metropolitan City, South Korea, and companies like Qualcomm, Samsung, Corning, Keysight Technologies, National Instruments, and PrimoWind.
